Cranio-sacral therapy is a therapeutic modality performed by massage therapists, but it is not considered a massage. You will remain clothed for this treatment and should wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing. Using a soft touch, generally about the weight of a nickel, your therapist will release restrictions in the spinal column from the sacrum to the base of the skull. The goal of this therapy is to improve the function of the central nervous system and relieve pain and dysfunction.
